Welcome to our web pages.

We are a friendly club of runners from Thorney, Whittlesey and the surrounding areas who enjoy regular training runs, occasional social events and local races.

Membership is very cheap and both subsidised kit and race entry are available. However there is no pressure to participate in races.

Each year we organise 3 races in the area which are well attended by other local runners.

Race/Training Travel:-

If you want to travel to any races with the team we now depart from the George Car Park to allow for car sharing.

There are lots of races coming up in June/july and here are some arrangements for shared travel.

I have put down times early enough for us to support the junior events.

27th June Hampton Fun Run (2.5k) - leave George at 10.15 for 11.15

28th June Sutton 7 mile (near Ely) - leave George at 9.30 for 11.00

5th July Thurlby 10k depart George at 9.30

12th July Bushy 10k   depart George at 9.45
15th July Stamford 5k depart George at 6.15
19th July St Ives 10k   depart George at 9.00
26th July March 5 mile depart George at 9.45
29th July Werrington 5k depart George at 6.30
19th Aug NVH   5k    depart George at 6.00
31st Aug Grimesthorpe Castle 10k dep George at 9.15

Training Venues/Times:

Mondays FROM MARCH 30th TWO CENTRE TRAINING

Training from Manor Leisure Centre 7.00 Meet by entrance to swimming pool.

Training from Thorney Park Pavilion 6.45 Meet by entrance to pavilion in center of the park from 30th March onwards. for info contact Andy at. Andyspurs5@aol.com

Thursdays Venue as for Whittlesey above at 10am mixed ages and abilities welcome with any changes shown below.

if runners need their UK Athletics Registration Number in order to sign up for a race (as Geoff did for the Stanwick 10k) then they should email or ring him and he will give you their number. You should be getting proper cards through now.
