Based in North Cambridgeshire

Formally called Hoo-Zat we changed our name for promotional reasons in 2003 following the emergence of a signed band called "Hows That" and a change in our original line up. 

We are back on the circuits with our new girl singer and will be back to a venue near you soon with our new line up.. 

As a band we are dedicated to providing good clean sounds with close harmonies and a cross selection of all music styles.

Our line up consists of a combination of the following:-

Lead and backing vocals - TRACY  & / or Kerry

                   Lead guitarist and backing vocals -            MATT 

                              Keyboards/Rhythm Guitar and  lead/backing vocals.      DAVE  

                                        Piano (Emily) ,vocal arrangements and backing vocals      KEVIN

We are currently working with our new line up and  working hard to produce a  fuller vocal sound Our CD, completed in march 2008  is available at gigs or by mail order. We are currently working on new material for the 2009 CD.

Our Lead vocalist Tracy who joined us last November has settled in well and has started writing some tracks,(one of which is on the new CD), her voice  is a cross between KT Tunstall. Sam Brown and Kirsty McCall. 

Our second Lead vocalist Kerry who joined us this November has also settled in to the roll, her voice  is a cross between Joan Jett and Sandy Denny, so we are in for a treat when combining the two voices, and we are in for a rare year of changing styles, though we will still be doing both your and our old favorites.

Our Lead guitarist Matt (Mafu) has continued to develop his Blues/Rock licks and plays an inspired 64 bar lead break in All Right Now. He varies his back line between the Marshall JV with the Marshall pedal which emulates every sound you never wanted to hear!!!! and the VOX valve state with its on board amp modeling, using a selection of guitars from Shine or Fender. 

As for me - Dave (Gaffer) I like to mix the Guitar tones of Razorlight into songs with the occasional foray onto the keyboard in the style of the Blues Brothers.  Kit varies from Crafter DX Convoy or Fender Acoustasonic through either a Line 6 Spider or Roland AR60, with some odd pedals occasionally.

We have another new member for the bigger gigs Kevin who with his stage piano "Emily" provides a bigger sound for the bigger venues providing backing vocals - also currently touring with "Rocking on heavens door" the  tribute stage show, so we are lucky to have him on board as he provides additional musical direction and helps co-arrange new material. Tends to add his own slant to the song outro's. 

Our Drummer "Korgi" is very cheap to run likes nothing better than to snuggle up in his bag and  stand around looking shiny - the rest is variable.
