Diabetes UK events 23 and 29 November :- NEW
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group has been working with Diabetes UK to arrange some patient engagement events. The events are being held in Cambridge on 23 November and in Peterborough on 29 November and they are an opportunity for people to:
1. Find out what services are available for people with diabetes within Cambridge
2. Ask local healthcare professionals and commissioners questions on diabetes care
3. Meet people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes who live in your local area

Accessible Information Standard 21 November NEW
Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is launching its new report that aims to help improve access to health and care services for people with sensory and learning disabilities.
The ‘Accessible Information as Standard’ report brings together two separate Healthwatch projects looking at the experiences of people who need accessible information when they use health or care services.
Qualified BSL interpreters will be present. Please let Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough know if you have any additional access needs. Entry is free.
You can also find out about the report as part of Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s public board meeting in Cambridge, held 7-9pm on Wednesday 15 November at the Meadows Community Centre, 1 St Catharine's Road, Cambridge, CB4 3XJ.
